Scorpio Table Tennis League Regulations

1. Match Schedule: Every Saturday from 6pm to 9pm.

2. Venue: 378 Burwood Highway, Burwood East VIC 3151

3. Match Format: The competition adopts a round-robin system with eight players in each group. Matches are played using an 11-point system, best of five games. The bottom two players from each group will compete with the top two players from the next group for promotion to the higher group. Two players will be promoted to the higher group, and the same process will be followed for subsequent groups.

4. Participation: All students below the age of 18 are eligible to participate. Late arrival for a match will be considered as forfeit unless prior notification is given for special circumstances.

5. Objectives: The coach will be present during the matches to observe and identify areas for improvement. After the matches, a summary will be provided, and targeted training will be conducted during practice sessions.

6. Rewards: The top two players from each group will receive free entry into the next round. Students who achieve a top-three position consistently throughout a semester will be awarded a trophy and a cash prize of $50 at the end of the semester.

7. Fee Structure: $30 per match.

Members who pay on a weekly basis will have free entry. Players who pay per match and are registered with our facility will be charged $10.
